Friends and Social Circle

Recently you'll see people nowadays quite often complaining its getting harder and harder to have friends gathering.....

its true,
but what makes it different compared with the good-old-college/uni-time, and out-of-the-society time?
Indeed, the main reason is that everyone has their own schedule or planned activities. Its difficult to meet everybody's availability especially when your group is big.
The second reason i would says that maybe its due to the nature or topic of conversation that ppl have little interest in it?

As we grow older, the line between socialise and friends meeting is getting clearer;
You'll discuss deeper thought with friends but not with people you're socialising.
With friends, we shares our views toward the society, views toward news happened around us, or our planning in life etc....
But when we're mingle with ppl in our social circle, we talk about food, little gossips here and there, or something doesn't really matter... we just need to keep the talking going without the need for deeper interaction.

Do you know what's your friends' dreamed life or what are they looking for in their life? What is their point of view towards the society, the country, or even the bigger picture -- things happening in the world?

For me, it is very easy to go out for a drink or dinner, mingle around with light chit chat and social away; but its getting lesser or harder to get someone who i can share things with. I'd tried to ask good old friends out to meet and chat, but disappointedly things are not quite the same anymore compared to the school-time. People changed, so do I...
I've changed a lot since I meet my loved, I've changed on trying to break the common cycle people are going through, I've take the first step to start my own business and seek the opportunity to break through the employed life, I've changed to wanting to know more about what's going on in the world, I've changed my habits my thoughts, and so and so on....
Sadly i don't have anyone to share these with but him, which caught me keep thinking that who is my so called real friend or perhaps buddies who thinks alike?

So, i would not be harsh to ppl who can't make it to meet up often, it is just a normal social after all. And for friends who couldn't make it for a gathering? Its not a big deal neither, friends doesn't need to meet up face to face frequently to make the friendship "sustain" right?

Just my 2 cents, have a great weekend and cheers ;)
